Meet the UPA Staff
Union Pointe Academy has a lot of new teachers this year and we are very fortunate to have them here, especially Mrs. Jennifer McGraw. Ms. Jennifer teaches Art class for the 8th graders at Union Pointe Academy. This is Ms. Jennifer's first year here at Union Pointe Academy, but she wants to stay for here because she feels it fits her career needs.
Ms. Jennifer loves sports, running and a little bit of football. Her favorite football team is the Cincinnati Bengals. Her favorite college football team is the Louisville Cardinals. One of her favorite activities is hiking and she loves to go to Red River Gorge. Her other favorite activity is reading. She has a classroom downstairs at UPA and she teaches reading or helps other kids in this school do homework or even just help them if they are getting stuck on a thing when they’re in her room. The subject that Ms. Jennifer teaches is Art.
She loves creating pictures and also loves teaching kids how to craft things out of clay and paint with 8th graders at UPA . She always did this, before she even worked here. She used to substitute teach art classes at other schools. Ms. Jennifer is so calm and patient when kids are having trouble. She encourages students to keep on trying and never give up. Everyone here at UPA feels proud to have her here!

Our students are diving into this month's theme… "The Best Gift Ever....God With Us." Theme verse: "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him "Immanuel" (which means "God with us").
Remember there is NO GYM until after the Christmas break. We are using that time to prepare for the drama productions. Take a look at the attached calendar below.
Every Wednesday at SOAR, we will feature an individual who will share about their career, the path that led them to that career, and take questions from students. We would love to have parents also be a part of our rotation of special guests. If interested, please contact Mr. Caddell email@example.com
LUNCH AT UPA
You are welcome to eat lunch any day of the week with your child.
Elementary has lunch from 11:45am-12:10pm and Middle/High lunch is from 12:15pm-12:35pm. We’d love to have you!
RISE AND SHINE
Ask your child about our Rise & Shine cards! We love catching students taking flight! Our faculty will be using these cards to encourage and highlight respect, responsibility, and positive behavior throughout our campus.
When students are given a card, they give it to Ms. Sheila or Mr. Chad and it goes into a drawing at the end of each month for gift cards.
